Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

VistaWatch ("we", "us") is a video hosting service. This policy explains what data we process when you use vistawatch.app and related apps.

2. Data we collect

• Account data — email address, display name, channel handle, avatar, and sign-in session tokens.
• Content you upload — videos, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, tags, and comments.
• Usage data — views (after a short watch threshold), likes/dislikes, subscriptions, and basic request logs needed to run and secure the Service.
• Technical data — IP address, user agent, and approximate device/browser info in server and cloud provider logs.

3. How we use data

We use this data to authenticate you, host and deliver media, rank and recommend content (for example trending), prevent abuse, fix bugs, measure product growth with first-party analytics, and communicate about your account (such as sign-in codes). We do not sell your personal data. We do not use Google Analytics.

4. Processors / hosting

We run on Google Cloud (compute, storage, database, identity) and send transactional email through Resend. Those providers process data only to provide their services under their terms.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use a session cookie (__session) to keep you signed in, and may store preferences (such as theme) in local storage on your device. These are required for the Service to work as expected.

6. Retention

Account and content data are kept while your account is active. You can delete videos you own. Server logs are retained for a limited operational period. Backups, if enabled, may retain data for a short recovery window.

7. Your choices

You may update your channel profile, delete your videos, or stop using the Service. For account deletion or privacy requests, email atahastra@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children

VistaWatch is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher digital-consent age where you live). Do not create an account if you are under that age.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
